The good news is that they are all adjacent. Guests can visit places of worship such as the Church of the Most Holy Trinity, situated 2.4 km from the Parliament Resort Gay Mens Resort.
If you're aching for a down-home, Southern-style breakfast like biscuits, gravy and grits, try the Sunrise Grill, just down the highway in North Augusta, South Carolina (say "hey" to Lindsey).
If you are driving, downtown Augusta has many fine restaurants in all price ranges.
If you are flying, here are some things to consider.
Getting to the Resort
If you are local enough, obviously you can drive. It is also the location of our Saturday afternoon play party, "Hell Hole: At The Edge of Hell."
There is limited food delivery available.
Either way, it’s about a 2 hour drive to the resort. Your weekend pass gives you 24 hour access to everything going on at Parliament through the fully staffed lobby. Ground transportation is more than ample: taxis, Uber, and Lyft all offer rides. Don’t worry. The Capri Lounge is Augusta’s only retro piano bar and includes a pool, while the Edge Nightclub is an energetic dance club with entertainment. Both venues are open to members as well as the public. Bar patrons must be at least 21 years old per Georgia law.
The Parliament Resort section of the complex (including the Café and RV Park) is all-male and fully enclosed with a gated entrance while the Executive Inn welcomes everyone.
Augusta Regional Airport (AGS) is only a 10 – 15 minute drive from Metropolis Entertainment Complex (formerly Parliament and Executive Inn). We have evolved into a 15-acre fun gay complex in historic Augusta, Georgia. Consisting of two motels, two bars, two saltwater pools, café, RV park and several all-male clothing-optional amenities, we are the largest gay resort in the southeast and possibly the world.
We have 130 available rooms (68 Parliament, 62 Executive Inn) with choices of 1 or 2 queen, or 1 king bed. All rooms are non-smoking with TV, air conditioning and a private bath. Select rooms have a microwave oven, mini-fridge and safe.
There are two bars located within the Metropolis Complex.
The Capri Lounge, at the Executive Inn offers daily drink specials, including daily happy hours cocktail service poolside. If you are staying off-site you’ll need to rent a car or rely on taxis or ride share.
Food and Drink
The Poolside Cafe at Parliament is up and running and is usually open from Thursday evening through Sunday morning.
