Not only do we have a new story to look forward to in Sonic X Generation, which fans are desperate to see a little kid get shot in, but we also have the release of Sonic the Hedgehog 3 to look forward to, which fans are also hoping features a child getting shot.

We know that the movie will likely feature Maria, the girl that gets shot by a GUN soldier while trying to save Shadow's life, thanks to the recent news that actor Alyla Brown is playing a role in the movie.

We'll have to wait and see whether Shadow's depressing backstory will be properly told in either Sonic the Hedgehog 3 or Sonic X Shadow Generations.

Unlike Mario having the hots for Princess Peach or Link ogling Zelda, Sonic's platonic relationship with Amy Rose never gave any clues about who he was interested in.
